Duties and Responsibilities
1. Administrative Support
- Assist in the procurement of office equipment and supplies, preparation of procurement documents, and liaising with suppliers.
- Support IT functions, including maintaining records of equipment and monitoring storage space.
- Assist with security arrangements, including staff contact management and visitor access to the UN compound.
- Manage office space, equipment, and services requirements.
2. Evaluation Support
- Ensure evaluation reports adhere to UNEP standards and manage report dissemination.
- Provide logistical support, such as scheduling interviews and booking meeting rooms.
- Assist with additional evaluation-related tasks as assigned.
3. Data Management and Reporting
- Maintain databases and create tools for automating data extraction and analysis.
- Conduct quality checks on data and prepare data reports and dashboards.
- Develop tools to improve internal processes and increase productivity.
4. Communication
- Upload evaluation reports to official UNEP platforms and update website content.
- Create content for social media platforms and support the design of communication materials.
- Provide technical assistance for webinars, videos, and other learning resources.
- Enhance communication methods for improved information dissemination.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Be enrolled in or have completed a graduate program (Master’s, Ph.D., or equivalent).
- Be in the final academic year of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Additional requirements:
- Studies in Environmental Management, Development Studies, or International Policy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, resourcefulness, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.

- Financial Remuneration: Internships are unpaid. Costs for travel, accommodation, and living expenses are the responsibility of the intern or their sponsoring institution.
